We’re a family-owned business, and we treat every customer like a neighbor because most of you are. Every home we walk into, you get the owner’s direct number. Chad built this business on honesty, and that starts with accessibility. You’ll always have a direct line to him, not a call center or a voicemail maze.

The Cosby Family

TodayAir was built by Chad and Stephanie Cosby, Auburn natives who have been rooted in this community their entire lives. Married for 22 years, they’ve raised four kids here and have no intention of going anywhere.

Connor, 22, played baseball at Auburn High before going on to play college ball. Noah, 20, was a standout lacrosse player who took his game to the college level. Tyler, 15, plays baseball at Lee Scott Academy. And Ella, 11, plays volleyball and attends Auburn public schools. This is home. These are our people.

Chad has spent nearly 20 years working at the national level in the HVAC industry, traveling the country, working inside some of the biggest HVAC operations in the business, and studying what works and what doesn’t. He’s seen the best and the worst of how this industry treats customers.

The breaking point came a few summers ago when the Cosbys’ own AC unit went down in the middle of a brutal Alabama summer. Four days. Four days of waiting for a technician while the house baked. A family of six without air conditioning, and nobody could give them a straight answer.

Chad and Stephanie knew the industry well enough to know that experience wasn’t acceptable, and that it was the norm, not the exception, for too many families in this area. So they built something better.
